SHIORI sings Nausicaa.
Studio Ghibli's first tribute album "Singing Ghibli" will be released on November 1.
The album was produced by Satoshi Takebe, the first bandmaster of MCZ's backing band (Downtown Momoclo Band).
It was announced on the album's official website that "Kaze no tani no Nausicaa (means 'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind')", sung by SHIORI as a cover, will be included on track 7.
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" is a legendary animated film that was released in 1984 and is still regularly shown on television nearly 40 years after its release.
The theme song "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind," which has the same title as the movie, was released as the debut song of actress NARUMI Yasuda, and reached No. 10 on the Oricon charts, selling over 200,000 copies.
A video comment from SHIORI is available on the album's special site. We look forward to the release of the album.
