The location of the 2024 'Haruichi' was announced.
During DAY 2 of Momoiro Christmas, details of the next big MCZ concert, "Momoclo Haru no Ichidaiji (means 'One big spring event') a.k.a 'Haruichi'," were announced.
During the live performance, a VTR of the announcement was aired and the mayor of Kameoka, Kyoto reported the decision of the venue.
The MCZ Live will be held on April 13 (Sat.) and 14 (Sun.), 2024, at Kameoka Athletic Park in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture.
Kameoka City is about 20 minutes by train from Kyoto, a world-class tourist city.
According to comments from Mononofus and others, it is extremely difficult to secure a place to stay because it is also the spring tourist season.
Haruichi is a well-established event that combines regional promotion with cooperation between MCZ and small- and medium-sized local governments throughout Japan.
The first event was held in Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture, in 2017, and after a two-year hiatus due to the spread of the new coronavirus, this will be the sixth time the event has been held.
In 2020, MCZ was awarded the "Director-General of the Japan Tourism Agency Commendation" in recognition of its contribution to regional revitalization in cooperation with local governments.
In Haruichi, the local government provides the venue for the live concert free of charge and cooperates in ensuring the safety of the event, while MCZ does not ask the local government for performance fees or expenses for stage production and operation, thereby maintaining a win-win situation.
The VTR of the decision on the venue, which was aired during the live performance, can be viewed on the following Youtube site.
