A junior "principal" has left the company.
YUICHI Fuji (a.k.a. Principal FUJI), who has long managed MCZ's sister group "Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku (Ebichu)," announced that he will no longer manage the group at the end of September.
After that, it was learned that he had also left the Stardust Promotion office where he had worked for 17 years, and the 'Ebichu family' (the collective name for all Ebichu fans) was upset.
Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku was formed in 2009 and celebrated its 15th anniversary this year with several member changes.
Principal FUJI has managed the girls for 14 years since 2010 and also led the launch of their younger sister group, ukka.
He is a key person who has contributed to the rise of Stardust Promotion's female idol groups as the twin of MCZ's producer KAWAKAMI.
Ebicu will perform at Saitama Super Arena on March 20 next year, a long-sought performance, but it seems that Principal FUJI has decided to leave the group before then.
His successor as "principal" will be 'SHIGARON' who is more senior to Principal FUJI and has been with Stardust Promotion for 20 years.
SHIGARON has also worked on MCZ-related events, including being in charge of the “perimeter stage” for MCZ's large summer concert in 2017.
We look forward to seeing sister group's progress on this new stage.
