AYAKA will once again throw the first pitch this year.

It has been announced that AYAKA will throw the first pitch at the NPB game between the Yomiuri Giants and the Tokyo Yakult Swallows at Tokyo Dome on the evening of Thursday, August 7.

AYAKA also threw the first pitch at Tokyo Dome on August 20 last year.

The game was titled "Fukushima Prefecture Namie Town Night Game," and AYAKA, who was leading JA-NAMIE at the time, was selected for the role with the aim of raising awareness of Namie Town.

This year, with the same objective in mind, AYAKA was approached in her capacity as producer of LumiUnion, which was renamed from JA-NAMIE.  

On the day of the event, a PR booth for Namie Town will be set up inside Tokyo Dome, contributing to disaster recovery efforts.
