MCZ appeared at a music festival by a legendary singer.
Today, MCZ took to the stage as the opening act at the performance “Itsuki JAM”, held at Yokohama Arena to mark legendary singer Hiroshi Itsuki’s 60-year debut anniversary.
MCZ performed two songs: “Ikuze! Kaitou Shoujo” and “Saraba Itoshiki Kanashimi-tachi yo”.
In addition, they collaborated on “MONONOFU NIPPON” together with their juniors on the same stage, Chou Tokimeki Sendenbu.
Hiroshi Itsuki has a connection with MCZ: after announcing his retirement from NHK’s year-end “Kohaku Uta Gassen” on New Year’s Eve, he appeared in the “Momoiro Uta Gassen” hosted by MCZ.
This time, to celebrate his 60-year debut anniversary, Hiroshi presented a culminating stage featuring 15 groups of singers across genres. According to online reports, the Mononofus supporters found themselves in a minority “away” environment, but the Sendenbu fans (Sendenbuin) and the two sides joined forces to cheer enthusiastically.
