Ayaka's "Z Densetsu" Costume at Hard Rock Cafe Kyoto Gets a Shout-Out on Stage

A "Z Densetsu: Owarinaki Kakumei" costume on display at Hard Rock Cafe Kyoto became a talking point at MCZ's November 7 show at ROHM Theatre Kyoto, part of the group's Christmas Tour 2026 "MomoKuri Delivery."

According to an X post by a fan who attended, Ayaka brought up the display during an MC segment in which the members recommended spots around Kyoto. She reportedly joked that, with her costume now at the restaurant, the four could no longer line up in their original "Z Densetsu" outfits - prompting the quip that they still had the green one, which drew laughter from the crowd. Reni added that wearing those outfits would be a stretch now that they're all in their 30s, getting an even bigger laugh.

Ayaka's pink "Z Densetsu" costume has been displayed at the restaurant's entrance since Hard Rock Cafe Kyoto opened on December 13, 2024.

Released on July 6, 2011, "Z Densetsu" was the group's first single after Hayami Akari's departure and the name change to Momoiro Clover Z. Its Super Sentai-style costumes in each member's signature color became one of the song's defining images.

The display places a piece of Momoiro Clover Z history within Hard Rock Cafe's tradition of exhibiting musicians' costumes and instruments as memorabilia.
