Mononofus was again praised by the mayor.

In the following article, we previously reported that the mayor of Shibata City, where MCZ held its spring concert, thanked the Mononofus for their support.

Furthermore, the mayor of the city of Shibata, Nikaido, who issued this message, made an official comment to the press at the city's regular May press conference praising the Mononofus.

(These comments are posted on the city's official website as a transcript of the proceedings.)

The following is an excerpt from the mayor's description of the Mononofus.

Early in the new year, we had the pleasure of hosting a live performance by Momoclo last month.

I will tell you what surprised me the most.

I heard that the fans of Momoclo are called "mononofu" and mononofu means 'samurai' or 'warrior'.

I had wondered why fans of idols have such a materialistic name.

But I found out that day.

They moved in an orderly manner without occupying the roads even when so many people were moving, and although the event was unfortunately canceled on the 13th , they were able to walk around the town, purchase products from Shibata, and so on, as they believe it is their mission to energize the local region.

I felt that they were truly "mononofu" when I saw them walking around the town, purchasing Shibata products, and behaving in such a manner.
