SHIORI has released a comment video about the play.

A comment video about the musical play that SHIORI will perform in September has been released on YouTube. (Below)

This play is titled "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de" and will be performed in two locations: Tokyo and Osaka.

SHIORI will play the role of the lady detective, Reiko Hosho.

The lead is Tatsuya Ueda, formerly of KAT-TUN.

The schedule for this play is:

  • [Tokyo Performance] September 9, 2025 (Tue) ~ September 23, 2025 (Tue/Holiday)   Nihon Seinenkan Hall
  • [Osaka Performance] September 27, 2025 (Sat) ~ October 1, 2025 (Wed)   Sky Theater MBS

It seems that for this one-month period, SHIORI's work will be almost entirely devoted to this play.

By the way, KAT-TUN has already disbanded, but it has been announced that they will hold their final concert at ZOZO Marine Stadium on 11/8.

On the same 11/8, MCZ is scheduled to hold a fan club event at Makuhari Messe, which is adjacent to this stadium.

Below is the English translation of the content that SHIORI is commenting on in YouTube.

Hello, everyone. This is SHIORI Tamaki, playing the role of Reiko Hosho.

I was really surprised when I was offered the role of Reiko Hosho, but I was incredibly happy about it. Personally, I don't have much experience with solo stage performances, but I really love theater and was at a point where I wanted to try various challenges. So, when I received the offer this time, I was thrilled, and it really motivated me. I thought, "Let's give it my all."

There's a bit of pressure, but since we're delivering an original story unique to the stage, different from the original work, the drama, and the anime, I think it's become an original story that fans of the original can enjoy, of course, and even those who haven't read the original or seen the drama can have fun with. So, I'd be happy if people could enjoy the mystery-solving worldview that's unique to the stage.

She's really an unimaginably high-class lady from a completely different world, right? And she has this side as a detective, so both aspects are very far from my own personal background in terms of profession and family lineage. In a way, she's a somewhat unrealistic character, so I think it's important to make the audience feel a strong sense of reality about her. I'd like to explore that within myself and challenge various things along the way.

There are a lot of comedy elements, and Reiko has both silly and sharp retort moments, so I think the contrast and dynamics like that will be really important. In that sense, I'd be happy if I could learn about the comedic aspects of this work this time. I also think people can enjoy the immersive feeling of solving the case together, so I'd be glad if everyone could enjoy this new sensation of a stage play.

For "The After-Dinner Mysteries," I believe there are fans from the original work as well, but since we're delivering it on stage this time, I think you can enjoy the immersion unique to theater and the colorful characters. So, let's solve the case together. We're looking forward to seeing you at the theater.
