Event Horizon Wins Together with Mononofu.

The racehorse Event Horizon, which shares its name with the song EVENT HORIZON released by MCZ in July this year (link below), competed today in the JRA Chukyo Racecourse Race 5 newcomers race and claimed victory.

The jockey aboard Event Horizon was Kohei Matsuyama, one of Japan's leading riders who has achieved a total of 13,000 JRA career rides. He is also well known as a longtime Mononofu, and is recognized to the extent that the official social media accounts of Momoiro Clover Z's regular program Momoclo Chan have introduced him as a 'Mononofu jockey.'

Event Horizon is a full younger brother of the G1 winner Deirdre, and attracted attention as a blue blooded horse when it fetched a price of 308 million yen at the 2024 Select Sale.

With KANAKO also involved in a campaign for Funabashi Racecourse this year, high expectations are placed on the future success of both horse and rider.
