RENI appeared at a late-night live performance.

An event titled GOBOU FES. 2025 was held last night at BASE GRANBELL in Ginza to celebrate the 50th birthday of Hisanori Yoshida, an announcer at Nippon Broadcasting System who is also known for his close ties with MCZ.

Although Yoshida is a radio announcer, he has deep knowledge of a wide range of subcultures, including manga and idols. He is currently enrolled in the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies at the University of Tokyo, where he is conducting research on fan activities and well-being, further expanding the scope of his work.

MCZ has appeared with him on programs since their early debut days, and because of his thin and slender appearance, the MCZ members nicknamed him GOBOU, a type of root vegetable commonly eaten in Japan. Since then, Mononofus have affectionately called him GOBOU, and that nickname was used directly as the title of this event.

The event ran for 10 hours from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., with a live radio broadcast taking place during the program. After appearing on the radio in the 10:00 p.m. hour, RENI gave a 30-minute performance at the venue starting at 1:00 a.m.

It is believed that this was the first time an MCZ member performed live during such a late-night time slot since their New Year's Eve concert in 2017.
