This weekend, MCZ's big spring live concert, 'Haru no ichi dai ji 2024', will take place.
It is customary for this live concert to include 'Pink Sora (means 'Peach Coloured Sky')' in the setlist.
(The song was written by TSUYOSHI Domoto, who is married to KANAKO. It is the only song he ever contributed to MCZ.)
ATSUNORI Sasaki (a.k.a. Atsunorin), who is responsible for the MCZ live production, focuses on performing this song at the time when the evening is approaching and the sky is actually turning pink.
For this reason, he sometimes switches the order of performances while watching the sky.
However, the actual sky pinking depends on the weather, and it is a rare case when the song can be performed at the right moment.
The most successful performance so far was in 2018 in Higashiomi, Shiga Prefecture.
This live performance has not been released as a product, but the video footage of the KAWAKAMI producer, who happened to be live-streaming on his smartphone, has been released and remains in the public domain. (below)
