Manholes commemorating MCZ are now available.

According to an article in the Chugoku Shimbun, a local newspaper in Hiroshima Prefecture, Fukuyama City has announced the sequential installation of manhole covers designed after MCZ at four locations in the city.

This was to commemorate the one-year anniversary of MCZ's "Haru no ichi daiji (means 'One Big Event in Spring')" live performance.

Last year, a total of 28,000 Mononofus from all over Japan visited the live performance held in Fukuyama City on 22 and 23 April, and the city estimates that it brought an economic effect of 710 million yen.

The manhole cover announced is 60 cm in diameter and weighs 34.2 kg, and is decorated with the live's logo and the members' colors.

This year's 'Haru no ichi daiji' will take place next weekend, 13 and 14 April, in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture.

It is hoped that this trend of local revitalisation with MCZ as a starting point will continue.
