AYAKA threw the first pitch at Tokyo Dome again this year.
AYAKA appeared at the first pitch ceremony for last night's NPB official game between the Yomiuri Giants and the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
The game was part of a collaborative event with Namie Town in Fukushima Prefecture, with which AYAKA is deeply involved, and as part of that event, LumiUnion, produced by AYAKA, held various events.
This collaboration event is held once a year, and this was AYAKA's first time pitching since August 20 last year.
The pitching ceremony was filmed by the Yomiuri Giants and is available on YouTube (below).
Coincidentally, the game that day coincided with the pitching day of MASAHIRO Tanaka, whom MCZ supports.
MASHIRO commented, "That's really amazing. I'm surprised that something like this happened," while AYAKA said, "I had no idea he was starting today. I was surprised when I saw it on the internet news." Both seemed surprised.
MASAHIRO had been struggling with his form in May and had been adjusting in the farm league for a long time, so today was his first start in a while.
With two more wins needed to reach 200 career victories, MASAHIRO pitched well until the sixth inning, but the reliever who took over was hit hard, resulting in no decision.
This year's entrance song for MASAHIRO, “Acceleration,” was also performed on both days of the MCZ summer live.
Following "Acceleration," we look forward to two more wins by the end of the year.

At the 2024 opening ceremony, the ball reached the catcher after three bounces.
And this year, it was just one bounce. This shows steady growth!
