Reni to Run Another Half Marathon

It has been announced that Reni has been selected as a guest runner for the Fukuyama Marathon, which will be held on March 15 in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture.

On the day of the event, Reni is expected to run the course together with other half marathon participants.

The Fukuyama Marathon is held with Fukuyama Transporting Rose Stadium as both the starting and finishing point. The stadium also served as the venue for a large-scale spring concert by Momoiro Clover Z in 2023.

In 2023, Reni participated in the 3 km course of the Fukuyama Marathon as part of the promotion for that concert.

This experience became her motivation to take on marathon running, and since the following year she has competed in multiple half marathons. Her personal best time is in the 2 hour and 5 minute range.

Regarding her participation this time, she released the following comment:

The Fukuyama Marathon was what inspired me to take on the challenge of marathon running.

I started with the 3 kilometer race, and this time I will be running the half marathon.

In this place where I have so many wonderful memories, including performing a live concert, I will do my best to finish the race in top condition.
