Stardust Promotion has debuted another new group.
As previously reported, Stardust Promotion, which represents MCZ, has made the decision since the end of last year to consecutively disband four of its existing idol groups.
On the other hand, while the new group Straight Angeli just debuted on 1/1 this year, yet another different new group will hold its debut live performance later this month.
The new group is called RE-GE (pronounced Rouge).
It is a group born from the audition project HAJIMARE Project, jointly run by Stardust Promotion and Bandai Namco Music Live. Nine members were selected from a total of 3,827 applicants.
Of the nine selected members, four were chosen from the general public, while the remaining five were selected from individuals who were already affiliated with Stardust Promotion. Furthermore, two of them were Stardust Planet Trainees.
The members were announced on January 30, and the theme song Kitto, Ima ga Seishun. has been available for streaming since January 31 (see below).
In addition, a free live event titled RE-GE Debut Free Live HAJIMARE GENERATION is scheduled to be held on 2/15 at the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower Stage in Tokyo.
