Reni Thrilled by Live Performance of Her Favorite Male Group.
RENI attended the final show of w-inds.' 25th anniversary tour, "w-inds. 25th Anniversary Best Single LIVE TOUR 2026 "GOLDEN SINGLES"," held at SGC HALL ARIAKE in Tokyo on August 26, and shared her experience on Instagram.
In her post, she revealed, "I've loved w-inds. ever since I was in elementary school, and I finally got to go to their LIVE show." She wrote that her heart had been racing with excitement from the moment she arrived at the venue, through buying merchandise, and all the way until she took her seat.
Once the show began, she recalled, "I was speechless." Expressing her honest emotions at finally seeing the long-awaited performance, she wrote, "Keita-kun and Ryohei-kun were really there, singing and dancing, and I was able to see them live."
She also commented on the concept of "GOLDEN SINGLES," which traced the group's 25-year history entirely through their single releases, describing it as "too emotional" and saying, "For that moment, I felt as if I had traveled back in time." She recalled that the first CD she had ever received was a w-inds. album and that memories of their songs reminded her of her great-grandmother, adding that she "couldn't stop crying."
She also touched on the words spoken on stage, including "Until our 50th anniversary" and "We will be there to support you," expressing her gratitude for how much those words had comforted fans. With the hashtag "#I'llDefinitelyGoToThe50thAnniversaryToo," she celebrated the group's 25th anniversary and pledged her continued support.
w-inds. is a male dance and vocal unit signed to Rising Production, home to artists such as DA PUMP, MAX, and SPEED. The group currently consists of two members.
At the final show of w-inds.' domestic tour, the duo performed 23 singles, including their 2001 debut song "Forever Memories." The tour drew approximately 35,000 people across 19 performances at 12 venues nationwide, with Keita Tachibana telling the audience, "Let's keep going until our 50th anniversary."
Meanwhile, MCZ is also scheduled to hold its Christmas live tour at the same venue, SGC HALL ARIAKE, later this year.
