AYAKA participates in the "Oto-meshi" project.
AYAKA took the stage today at the presentation of the "Shibuya OTOMESHI Project" held in Tokyo.
The project name "OTOMESHI" is a coined word meaning "Sound and Food.
This project is said to be based on the hope that people will stop eating with their phones in their hands and instead enjoy their meals while listening to music.
The project is organized by AJINOMOTO, a food company.
When AYAKA was told of the results of a survey showing that about 80% of her age group were "eating while looking at their phones," she commented, "I think I am one of those 80%" .
She then actually experienced OTOMESHI and stated the following.
I can concentrate on the food visually, and the radio provides enjoyable support for my ears. I don't feel like I'm eating alone!
