Sister group's leading member announces retirement.

MCZ's sister group, KAHO kobayashi of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, who successfully performed at Saitama Super Arena this month, has announced that she will graduate from the group on 28 June this year.

She will also be ending her performing career.

KAHO joined Ebichu in 2014 and has been active for 11 years.

Her one-of-a-kind soft voice has given many of the girls' songs a richly personal identity as Ebichu.

KAHO posted a lengthy blog post today, expressing her gratitude for the past and her determination for the future.

Some excerpts are shown.

I've been running as fast as I can since I was 13 years old, and I've had a lot of fun up to this point.

But just as each and every one of you has your own life, I thought it would be okay for me to think about my future on my own unique axis, so I decided to go out into the outside world.

With only about three months left until graduation, I want to celebrate my youth as Utao Kobayashi of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku until the magic is broken!

On the last day, they will hold a graduation concert.
