RENI Finishes Half Marathon with a Personal Best.
On October 26, RENI took part in the Yokohama Marathon 2025, held in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. She ran the half marathon and later appeared on stage for a talk session.
The Yokohama Marathon 2025 is a major event where around 30,000 runners dash through autumn scenery in Yokohama. This year marked the 10th anniversary since the race was upgraded to a full marathon, and a new category - the Wangan Highway Run (roughly equivalent to a half marathon, though slightly longer) - was introduced for the first time.
As the inaugural guest runner for this new category, RENI successfully completed the race in 1 hour, 54 minutes, and 30 seconds, achieving her personal best among the three half marathons she has run so far.
After finishing the race, RENI appeared on the talk stage and commented:
'Since I started running marathons, my basal metabolism has gone up ? I've become much less sensitive to the cold. I used to love summer more because I hated the cold, but that's been gradually changing.'
She also shared her next goal:
'Someday, I want to run a full marathon.'
It seems she already has her sights set on taking on the Yokohama Marathon in its full form in the future.
