Announcements of idol group disbandments continue.

We have already reported that three groups under Stardust Promotion, where MCZ belongs, namely AMEFURASSHI, ukka, and LumiUnion, will disband. In fact, this year many other groups from different camps have also announced their disbandment.

First, WACK, which had supported many groups thanks to the great success of BiSH, has announced that it will disband almost all of its subsidiary groups within this year, including GANG PARADE, ExWHYZ, KiSS KiSS, and BiTE A SHOCK.

The only exception is Mameshiba no Taigun, which even appeared at the Momoiro Uta Gassen at the end of the year and will continue its activities.

In addition, Tokyo Joshiryu (means 'Tokyo Girls' Style'), which debuted around the same time as MCZ and had been active for many years, as well as the relatively newly formed my fav, will also disband in March.

Amid all this, news of yet another group disbandment arrived yesterday. Philosophy no Dance (means 'Dance for Philosophy'), formed in 2015 and known for building a unique worldview with a high level of musicality, is also set to disband this spring.

Although the circumstances surely differ for each group, it may be becoming a harsh era for female idol groups.

The fact that MCZ has already announced a rough schedule for this year, through the end of December, can be seen as a source of reassurance for Mononofus.
