LumiUnion successfully held their final live concert

LumiUnion, formerly known as Namie Joshi Hatsu Kumiai, a group produced by MCZ's Ayaka in her role as PPP (Pink Playing Producer), performed their final live show today, bringing their approximately six-and-a-half-year journey to a close.

The venue was Michi-no-Eki Namie in Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture.

The concert was held as a free event, where members and fans came together as one to run through their final "journey."

LumiUnion is a group that has supported recovery efforts from the Great East Japan Earthquake through song and dance.

In June last year, they changed their name to LumiUnion and shifted their base of operations to the Tokyo metropolitan area, while consistently continuing to express their connection to Namie Town. In 2024, they were appointed as the first Namie Town Furusato Support Ambassadors, delivering "light" across the country through community-focused activities.

The group's disbandment was announced on December 28 last year.

Their official website explained it as "a decision made after repeated discussions regarding the future of group activities and a comprehensive evaluation."

Their final tour, "LumiUnion Final Journey," began with a performance in Saitama on March 15, toured nationwide, passed through Tokyo on April 26, and reached its finale today in Namie.

Social media has been filled with warm messages from their fans, known as "union members."
