Shiori to Perform at Hibiya Music Festival
It has been announced that Shiori will appear at Hibiya Music Festival 2026, which will be held on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 in Hibiya, Tokyo.
The festival will take place across three venues: Hibiya Park, Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, and Tokyo International Forum Hall A. Shiori is scheduled to perform on May 30 at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.
Hibiya Music Festival was first launched in 2019, led by music producer Kameda Seiji.
With the idea of creating "a new circulation model of money in the music industry and a place for experimentation," the festival gathers funding not only from corporate sponsorships and grants but also from outside the music industry, including crowdfunding.
Despite being a large-scale music festival featuring top artists, it has achieved the rare model of offering free admission.
The event was inspired by the free music festival "SummerStage," held annually in Central Park, New York.
Kameda Seiji produced "Velvet no Mori (means 'velvet forest')," the 11th song in Shiori's 2023 solo project "SHIORI TAMAI 12 Colors," and has since developed a closer relationship with her.
Although admission to Tokyo International Forum Hall A, where Shiori will perform, is free, attendees are required to obtain a numbered ticket in advance through a lottery system.
