Manami had been active in the entertainment industry since childhood. In 2007, she transferred to Stardust Promotion and became a member of Momoiro Clover. She was part of the group from its formation on May 17, 2008, until her graduation on December 29 of the same year.

During that period, Momoiro Clover underwent numerous lineup changes, with members frequently joining and leaving the group. As a result, Manami's vocals are included on the group's indie debut single, "Momoiro Punch," although she does not appear on the jacket photograph.

In 2022, Manami married a former classmate from her junior high and high school days. She later announced the birth of her first child in 2024.
