This year's support song will be released on streaming platforms

As reported previously, MCZ has once again provided an original new song, "SECOND ROUTE", as the entrance theme for Yomiuri Giants pitcher Tanaka Masahiro this season.

Tanaka has made two appearances at the team's home venue, Tokyo Dome, so far this season, and the song was played in the stadium when he took the mound as a starting pitcher.

It has now been announced that "SECOND ROUTE" will be released on major subscription-based streaming services on June 17.

Ahead of the release, the jacket artwork was unveiled. It features an orange road sign displaying Tanaka's uniform number, 11, along with a "CONTINUE" arrow pointing toward a four-colored rainbow stretching across a blue sky. The artwork conveys a message of striving for a view beyond one's limits.

So far this season, Tanaka has appeared in 10 games, posting a 3-3 record with a 3.52 ERA. At Tokyo Dome, where he enters to MCZ's support song, he has made two appearances and has yet to receive a decision, but he has recorded 11 strikeouts with a 3.00 ERA, showing solid form.
