Kanako Found Her Favorite Character

This week, Kanako appeared at Lotte's "Pie no Mi" anime adaptation announcement event, which was held in Tokyo.

"Pie no Mi" is one of Lotte's long-selling snack brands and is now in its 48th year since launch. In response to fans who wanted to learn more about the world of Pie no Mi, Lotte launched the second phase of its "Pie no Mi Oshi no Mori Project," riding the popularity of oshi culture. As part of the project, the anime "Pie no Mi: Welcome to Oshi no Mori!" was produced.

The event was held to promote the anime.

Among the characters appearing in the anime, Kanako chose Roxy as her favorite character.

She explained her choice as follows:

Shiori's birthday is June 4, which is the same as Roxy's (because in Japanese, 6 can be read as 'roku' and 4 as 'shii').

Roxy's special talent is stopping a stopwatch at exactly 6.4 seconds, which is similar to Reni's ability to stop a stopwatch at exactly 10.0 seconds.

And Roxy's hair accessory resembles Ayaka's.

I ended up finding so many things in common with MCZ, so I naturally became a fan of Roxy.
