MCZ Performed at a Music Festival in Osaka
MCZ appeared on Day 1 of "Gobu Gobu Festival 2026," a music festival held on June 6 at Higashi no Hiroba in Expo '70 Commemorative Park, located in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture.
The festival originated as a spin-off project from the popular Kansai television program "Gobu Gobu" and was conceived by legendary comedian Hamada Masatoshi.
In addition to being one of Japan's most popular comedians, Hamada also achieved success as a music artist in the 1990s. His hit song "WOW WAR TONIGHT" became a double-million seller.
Hamada's eldest son is a bassist, who performs under the name Hama Okamoto. He played bass on the MCZ songs "GOUNN" and "Mahoro Vacation."
At this festival, MCZ performed six songs, including popular tracks such as "Nippon Egao Hyakkei," "CONTRADICTION," and "Coco Natsu."
A portion of the final song, "Hashire!," has been released on the festival's official Instagram account (see below).
