The production process behind last summer's live show has become much clearer

Regarding "Momoclo Natsu no Baka Sawagi 2025 in Yokohama Stadium," which MCZ held over two days at Yokohama Stadium last year, special theatrical screenings are currently being held as part of the promotion for the Blu-ray and DVD that will soon be released.

This weekend, MCZ's producer Kawakami Akira and stage director Sasaki Atsunori , known by the nickname Atsunorin, appeared on stage for a talk session, where several behind-the-scenes stories from last summer were revealed.

As for the concert, which was at risk of being canceled due to forecasts of a direct hit by a typhoon right up until the last minute, they were honestly in a give-up mode as of two days before the event. In the midst of that, it was apparently Shiori who directly appealed to Kawakami, saying, "Maybe we can hold off on making the decision a little longer."

After that, Kawakami decided to go ahead with the show, declaring that even if there were no set pieces and the stage was completely bare, he would still put the four members on stage. While keeping a close eye on the weather and making last-minute adjustments, Atsunorin and the rest of the production team ultimately abandoned plans to build the pyramid-shaped set, but managed to prepare all the equipment they could within the limited conditions.

Normally, sound adjustments and other preparations need to be completed the day before, but this time they had only a very limited window on the day of the performance. It seems that for the lighting as well, some of the advance adjustments could not be completed in time.

Under such circumstances, I once again feel deep gratitude toward all the staff members who delivered such a highly acclaimed stage performance to us.

We're looking forward to fully enjoying the Blu-ray that will arrive this week.
