Ayaka Threws Ceremonial First Pitch at Tokyo Dome

Yesterday, Ayaka threw the ceremonial first pitch before the Yomiuri Giants vs. Hanshin Tigers game at Tokyo Dome.

As previously reported in the article below, her appearance was part of the annual collaboration event with Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture.

This marked Ayaka's third ceremonial first pitch at Tokyo Dome.

This year, she took the mound wearing Giants shorts and a Giants uniform with the number 30 on the back, a reference to her age. She delivered the pitch with a dynamic, full windup.

Although the ball bounced three times before reaching home plate, the crowd responded with warm applause, and Ayaka left the mound with a smile.

No matter how many times I get the opportunity to do this, I always get really nervous. 
At the same time, this is a place where I can draw energy from the excitement in the air before the game begins. 
My pitching is nothing to brag about, but I was truly happy that everyone welcomed me so warmly.
