MCZ Announces Eighth Album and Nationwide Arena Tour

Sorry for the delay in reporting the two major announcements made at the autumn concert ? we’ve been tied up with "concert memories" posts lately.

As the first of 20 projects under THE ULTIMATE YEAR, a campaign leading up to MCZ’s 20th anniversary in May 2028, MCZ has announced that its eighth original full-length album, VOGUE AND ROMANCE, will be released on March 3, 2027.

The album will feature 14 tracks: eight new songs and six previously released ones -- "Renacer Serenade," "Yawaku Koishite: May We Always Stay Together," "Event Horizon," "Mnemosyne," "Kaishin no Ichigeki," and "Mu Ga Mu Chu."

As the second project, MCZ also announced a nationwide arena tour in support of the new album, MOMOIRO CLOVER Z ARENA TOUR 2027 "VOGUE AND ROMANCE."

This will be MCZ’s first album tour in about five years, since the tour for its sixth album, Shukuten, in 2022. The tour will consist of six shows in three cities:

  • Kanagawa: Pia Arena MM - March 20 and 21
  • Hyogo: World Memorial Hall - April 24 and 25
  • Tokyo: Ariake Arena - May 8 and 9

Each city will host two distinct shows: DAY 1, titled "Chronostasis," and DAY 2, titled "Singularity," each with different content.

Sato Ami, whose direction of "Momoiro Christmas 2025 ODYSSEY" was well received, will once again oversee the overall production.

The catchphrase for THE ULTIMATE YEAR is: "This isn’t a year to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It’s a year to build what comes after it."

The remaining 18 projects will be announced in due course. We can’t wait to see what MCZ has in store!
