RENI Returns to Her Alma Mater
RENI made a surprise guest appearance at the 80th anniversary school festival of Hakuho Girls' High School in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama, her alma mater, taking the stage in front of current students.
According to text information posted on Instagram Stories, she also appears to have performed a song for her younger schoolmates.
Photos on Instagram show RENI standing on the gymnasium stage in a white blouse and pale purple skirt, while uniformed students sit on the floor and raise their hands. (See below.)
This is believed to be the first time RENI has personally revealed the name of her alma mater.
RENI left the following comments (excerpt):
I was invited as a guest to the school festival at Hakuho Girls' High School, my alma mater.
It was so nostalgic.
The energy of an all-girls school was just as I remembered it, and honestly, that made me feel really comfortable.
Thank you all for spending that time with me!
I am glad that I was able to spend my teenage years, which were probably the most difficult years of my life, at this school. I love this school, and it will always be a treasure to me, because when I was struggling to decide what to do with my future, the teachers encouraged me to pursue a career in entertainment and supported me.
I am once again grateful to the teachers and friends I had back then.
