RENI to Appear in a Reading Play

RENI has been announced as a cast member of the reading play "Nekotan! Plus: The Cat Town Mystery Chronicles" Cat Town Serial Bombing Incident.

The play will be performed from Thursday, November 12, through Sunday, November 15, at Owlspot, the Toshima Performing Arts Exchange Center, on the second floor of the Rise Arena Building in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. RENI will appear in three performances: 1 p.m. on Friday, November 13, and 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 15.

According to the official cast schedule, the production features multiple casts. Five actresses are listed for the role of Mayoiji Somari, who appears to be the protagonist: Amagi Sally, Suzuki Minori, Suzuno Mio, Takagi Reni, and Tachibana Mirai.

RENI's character, Mayoiji Somari, is described as "a cheerful detective cat who takes action as soon as an idea comes to mind."

Based on the world of Hagiwara Sakutaro's "Cat Town," the production is an original mystery featuring the aesthetics of Showa-era modernism and cats. Fans will be looking forward to a memorable performance by RENI, who is well known as a devoted cat lover.
