A music festival featuring MCZ has been canceled.
ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2026, one of Japan's largest outdoor music festivals, held at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City, announced on the 20th that the event scheduled for Monday, the 21st, a national holiday and the festival's final day, had been canceled.
With Typhoon No. 25 approaching, the organizers determined that it would be difficult to ensure safety inside and outside the venue, stating, "Rainfall significantly heavier than today's is forecast throughout the day, and strong winds are also expected as the typhoon makes its closest approach."
Only the final day of the five-day festival has been canceled.
MCZ had been scheduled to perform on the 21st. Approximately 25 acts were set to appear that day, including Maximum the Hormone, Ado, WANIMA, 10-FEET, Sakurazaka46, INI, and ano.
The festival organizers commented, "We sincerely apologize to everyone who made plans believing the event would go ahead and who had been eagerly looking forward to this day."
In response to the cancellation announcement, MCZ's management reacted immediately.
On the 20th, the official MCZ account announced that "Rain or Shine! Let's All Enjoy Momoclo - Natsuno Bakasawagi 2025 at Yokohama Stadium Edition" would be premiered on the group's official YouTube channel at 4:00 p.m. Japan time on the 21st, the day they had been scheduled to perform at Rockin.
The stream will be available for one day only, with no archive remaining afterward.
