MCZ Delivers an Outstanding Performance at HIDE LIVE 2026

On Thursday, MCZ appeared at HIDE LIVE 2026: The Kayokyoku Show, a one-night-only live concert by former idol and legendary performer Nakayama Hideyuki, held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo.

About halfway through the approximately two-hour concert, Momoiro Clover Z took the stage and performed a hit medley of three songs: "Ikuze! Kaitou Shoujo," "Saraba, Itoshiki Kanashimitachi yo," and "Hashire!"

This was followed by a special medley with Nakayama, reminiscent of the TV show THE Yoru mo Hippare. In a series of seamless transitions, they sang their way through 10 songs from the Showa and Heisei eras.

After the show, Nakayama posted on Instagram, commenting on MCZ: "Momoclo-chan's stage work is perfect. I was amazed by how incredibly they pulled off the Hippare medley after just one rehearsal."

According to posts by concertgoers on X, Mononofus appeared to make up around 30 to 40 percent of the audience.

A digest of MCZ's performance has been released on the group's official YouTube channel.
