Donations Raised at RENI's Solo Concert Given to Kumamoto Prefecture

According to an announcement on MCZ's official website, a donation box was set up in the lobby at RENI's solo concert, "33 SAMBA to Bon Bon DANCE: Marugoto Renichan Festival 2026," held on August 14. The "Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund" collected from concertgoers was subsequently donated to Kumamoto Prefecture.

The total amount donated by attendees was 108,343 yen.

On July 28, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck Kumamoto Prefecture, resulting in 38 deaths and damage to 36,000 homes. It has been reported that many people are still living in evacuation shelters.

Kumamoto Prefecture was also hit by a major earthquake in 2016. About two weeks after that disaster, MCZ held a charity concert in addition to its previously scheduled performance at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL, and donated the proceeds from ticket sales.
