[Repost] 'JA-NAMIE,' produced by AYAKA, will appear on NHK-WORLD.

Reposted as it will be aired tonight.

The seven-member group "Namie Joshi-Hatsu-Kumiai (a.k.a. JA-Namie)," produced by AYAKA of MCZ and including members of its sister group, will perform on NHK-WORLD's music program J-MELO, it was announced.

'Namie' is the name of a small town in Fukushima Prefecture where MCZ is planning to hold a major live event in the spring (which has been postponed until 2022 due to the coronavirus).

The nuclear power plant that was damaged in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami is located in a neighboring town, and although many residents evacuated the town at one time, it is now possible to live in some areas. However, the population before the earthquake was 21,000, but only about 1,500 have returned as of now.

The theme of AYAKA and their group is "to make warm smiles bloom all over Japan with the wind from this town."

The group was formed in 2020 and was supposed to perform live once a month in Namie town, but due to the coronavirus, they have not been able to perform regularly.
The group's image color represents "cosmos," the symbolic flower of Namie Town.

The broadcast time of J-MELO is as follows.

Monday, March 8, 2021, 0:10, 6:10, 12:30, 18:30 (all times in Japan, to be broadcast four times on this day)
