Three of MCZ joined the torch relay (without running)

Today, MCZ members AYAKA, SHIORI, and RENI participated in the Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay as the representative runners of Kanagawa Prefecture.

Due to measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Kanagawa Prefecture, running on public roads was cancelled and the event was changed to a torch-kissing only (not running) within the set venue.

Taking over the relay from MCZ was Alex Ramirez, who was the manager of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars (NPB) until last year.

And from there, It was connected to Minami Takahashi, the former leader of AKB48.

Kanako ran for her home prefecture of Shizuoka on June 23 at the Ecopa Stadium.
