A large scale idol festival will be held tomorrow.

One of Japan's two major idol festivals, @JAM EXPO 2020-2021, will be held at Yokohama Arena for three days from August 27th to 29th.

(The other, TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL, will be held in the fall (October 1-3) this year instead of the summer due to TOKYO2020.)

Momoiro Clover Z will perform on the main stage at the very end of the last day, as the last of all performers.

On the other hand, the spread of COVID-19 has had a major impact on the event, and more than 10 groups have already cancelled their performances due to infected members or the risk of their travel.

SKE48, a close friend of MCZ, and "Iginari Tohoku-San", a junior member of MCZ's office, have also cancelled their performances due to the infection among their members.

However, in an Internet broadcast on Monday, MCZ's producer Akira KAWAKAMI said, "If the event is held at the discretion of the organizers, we will perform. We have also asked them to take sufficient measures against infection."

If all goes well, this will be the stage where AYAKA will be able to show her return to the fans.

As for KANAKO's performance, KAWAKAMI did not say so clear in his comment on Monday. (She has been rehearsing, but seems to be coughing a little.)

We hope the event will go well through the whole thing.
