AYAKA is going to bring the rain again.

TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL (TIF) 2021, considered to be the world's largest idol festival, will be held for three days from tomorrow in the Odaiba area (around Fuji TV) in Minato Ward, Tokyo.

TIF has been held since 2010, and this year will be the 11th (or 12th if you include those held without spectators).

In 2020, due to the effects of the coronavirus, the event was cancelled in the style of previous years, and a live broadcast without an audience was held as an alternative.

This will be the first time in two years that the event will be held with an audience.

As the event is called the world's largest, the scale of the event is very large.

This year's event will be held at five locations and seven stages in the Odaiba area, with multiple events running at the same time.

The last time the event was held (2019), 212 groups (1,393 performers) and 88,000 people attended.

In this major event, in recent years, AYAKA of MCZ has traditionally performed a solo stage early in the morning of the first day as the headliner of all stages.

This time, too, she is scheduled to perform for 20 minutes starting at 9:50 in the morning on the first day.

The stage for AYAKA is the same outdoor stage called "SMILE GARDEN" every year. (Normally, this is a park.)

However, typhoon No. 16 (MINDULLE) is approaching Tokyo tomorrow, and the official TIF website posted a notice that the event may be cancelled depending on the situation.

Typhoon No. 16 is no longer likely to hit the mainland, but it will come closest to Tokyo tomorrow morning.

The forecast for Minato Ward at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning is "heavy rain," with an hourly rainfall of 19 mm/h, winds of 6 mph, and temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius.

AYAKA has always been called "Rainy Girl" (A girl who always gets rained on at the most important times.) in MCZ.

Mononofu's resolve is about to be tested.

---Addendum

In the middle of making this article, there was an announcement from the TIF official website.

Due to the typhoon, all the stages of the first day's events have been cancelled.

Unfortunately, AYAKA's stage will not be held either.
