Details of the New Year's Eve event "Momoiro Uta Gassen" have been announced.
This evening, MCZ held a live broadcast program on AbemaTV and announced the details of the "Momoiro Uta Gassen" to be held on New Year's Eve.
The subtitle of this year's event is "Todoke! Kibou no Kanata-e (means 'Beyond our Hope')". For the first time in two years the event will be held, and first time at the Nippon Budokan.
In addition to AbemaTV, the event will be broadcast on BS-NTV, Nippon Broadcasting System (AM/FM radio), and three other terrestrial broadcast stations, and can be seen on various media throughout Japan. (For those of you overseas, it may be difficult to watch directly, but there may be ways to watch AbemaTV via VPN on the Internet. Please check it out for yourself.)
AbemaTV, the longest network, is reported to be broadcasting for 8 hours.
During the program, the first 57 artists were announced, but it seems that more will be added in the future as there is an "And more" sign.
Hiroshi Itsuki, who made a guest appearance in the announcement program, is a legend who had participated in NHK's Kohaku Uta Gassen 50 times (that is, 50 years) in a row until last year.
This year, he made headlines when he announced his graduation from the NHK Kohaku program, but he will be making his "first appearance" in the Momoiro Uta Gassen.
The key visual has been released on the official website. (below)
