Anxious about MCZ's live next weekend.

The producer Kawakami explained the outlook for the MCZ's 13th anniversary live event scheduled to be held at Makuhari Messe on January 23 via audio streaming on Twitter.

Currently, infection with the Omicron strain of the new coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Japan, and there is growing concern that the government will once again issue a notice to restrain the implementation of live events.

However, as of today, there has been no official announcement, and Kawakami stated the following outlook.

  • We are not thinking of canceling the live performance at this time.
  • We are planning to have a capacity of about 7,000 people.
  • However, we are considering the possibility of creating an environment where the video can be viewed via streaming for those who have tickets. (There is no plan to sell tickets exclusively for only distribution.)

An official announcement will be made when the details are decided.
