”Takanori Nishikawa featuring Momoiro Clover Z" will perform the theme song of the movie.

Today, it was announced on the official website of Toho (movie company) that a new song called "Tekketsu (means 'Iron Blood') † Gravity" by Takanori Nishikawa featuring Momoiro Clover Z will be used as the theme song for the movie "KAPPEI" to be released on March 18.

The trailer for the movie has also been released, and you can listen to a part of the song.

Regarding these, Takanori Nishikawa (TM Revolution) and MCZ have released the following comments.

-Takanori Nishikawa

I'm Takanori Nishikawa, and I've been asked to sing the theme song for the movie "KAPPEI".

First of all, I'm very honored to receive this offer.

When I was asked to collaborate with the four members of Momoiro Clover Z, I thought that they were the only ones who could bring out the best of the atmosphere and quality of "KAPPEI" and express the worldview of the movie together. I've worked with them many times at events, and I feel like I know them well, but this is the first time I've worked with them to create a song, so it was very refreshing.

The song has the most heavy metal color of any of Takanori Nishikawa's songs so far, and I think it expresses the world of "KAPPEI" in a good way with a hot and bitterness that is not really found in recent J-POP or JROCK. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I do!

-Momoiro Clover Z

Thank you for allowing me to participate in the singing of the theme song "Iron Blood † Gravity" for the movie "KAPPEI".

We heard that we were the first ones that came to Mr. Nishikawa's mind when he thought that it would be better to have a noisy group of people to sing the song with. Laughter.

We were very happy to receive the offer directly from Mr. Nishikawa!

We've often worked together at festivals, but this is the first time we've worked together in this way, and I'm so happy to finally be involved in the same work!

We felt that this song was full of Nishikawa's style. It was very cool and unlike anything By the time we recorded the song, Mr. Nishikawa's voice was already in the song, so we had to follow his lead and try our best to sing it in a cool and cool way so as not to ruin the song.

We hope you'll enjoy it along with the movie! We're looking forward to the movie!
