MCZ's new song, written by KANAKO, was unveiled today.

Masahiro Tanaka (Ma-kun), former New York Yankee and ace pitcher for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles since last year, has been using the MCZ song every year.

It was announced today that the 2022 appearance song will be played on the occasion of his April 5 appearance on the mound.

According to MCZ's official website, it is, to the surprise of many, a song written by KANAKO. (Both the lyrics and the music!)

The title of the song is "Ichimi Doshin. (This is an old Japanese idiom meaning "to join forces and unite one's mind under the same purpose. And its people.") )

KANAKO commented on the announcement as follows

I wanted to put into the song the energy that is released by gathering and carrying all the heat of the stadium, and I wrote it while thinking of Ma-kun, the fans, and my many friends, the sounds and sights that I hear at the moment I start running, and the background behind it. I am very happy to have been able to do this.

Please unite your hearts as one and let your hearts be filled with lots of power.

Today's game was a day game and Rakuten won; Ma-kun was the winning pitcher, giving up 2 runs in 7 innings.
