MCZ to increase number of Shinkansen trains.

Today, JR West issued a press release announcing that three additional Shinkansen trains will run to accommodate MCZ's live concert (Haru no ichi-dai-ji, DAY 2) on 23 April.

According to the release, in the downward direction, an additional "NOZOMI" train will depart Fukuyama Station at 21:10 for Hakata (Fukuoka Prefecture).

In the upward direction, two additional "HIKARI" trains will depart from Fukuyama Station at 19:35 and 20:46 for Shin-Osaka (Osaka Prefecture).

Other regular services are also available.

The Shinkansen has a capacity of 1,323 passengers per train, so a considerable increase in transport capacity is expected.

We plan to drive our own car from Osaka region to Fukuyama, a distance of about 250 km one way.
By car it takes less than 4 hours, but by Shinkansen it seems to take only 66 minutes.
