A new song written by all four members has been released.

One previously unreleased song was performed as a surprise encore at MCZ's 15th anniversary live concert held at the Yoyogi National Stadium First Gymnasium in Tokyo on 16th and 17th May this week.

The song is called Hikari-michi (means 'Shining Path') and was written by the four members of MCZ together.

It is the first time the all members have collaborated on a song since 'Ano Sora E Mukatte' (means 'Towards the Sky'), which has become an anthem at MCZ's live shows since they performed it on the streets of Yoyogi Park 15 years ago.

The members wrote the lyrics and came up with the title of the song based on the concept of "a van that has been on the road for 15 years and keeps driving towards the shining light without stopping".

Shinya Tada, who wrote the lyrics for 'Shiroi-kaze (White Wind)' and 'Kiminoato (Your trail)', was nominated by the members to compose the music.

The four members wanted to thank the Mononofus in their own words on the occasion of the 15th anniversary, and the members worked together for a long time on the production of the song before completing it.

The illustrations on the cover are in the colours of the four members: KANAKO 's red, SHIORI's yellow, AYAKA's pink, RENI's purple, as well as former member MOMOKA's green and AKARI's blue.

The 'YYG' in the illustration refers to Yoyogi Park and '31 December 2012' refers to the date of their first performance on the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, which was their first goal.

Their lyrics end as follows

What shall we tell you first?

You're here, I'm here, so we're happy
