AYAKA became a Barbie doll.
AYAKA has posted off-shots from her solo concert "AYAKANATION 2023", which took place at the Yokohama Arena on 23 May, on Instagram.
During the concert, AYAKA performed dressed as a Barbie doll.
This was apparently an official collaboration with Barbie, and many photos of AYAKA dressed as the doll were posted.
It seems that Barbie is actually on display in AYAKA's room.
AYAKA has released the following comment.
This time I was able to do a special collaboration with BARBIE which was amazing.
It's really amazing.
Thank you so much.
I really wanted to do a live performance as the cute and adorable Barbie-chan, so I asked them to do it on the spur of the moment.
It was like a dream come true that they allowed me to do it.
Thank you so much.
You can be anything you want.
I didn't think I would be able to do such a happy collaboration, and I think it's very important not to give up on your dreams and aspirations.
