This year's new year's eve live will not be at nihon budokan.

A KAWAKAMI producer posted on X about the venue for MCZ's New Year's Eve event, Momoiro Uta Gassen.

The post apologizes for the delay in announcing the event and does not indicate a specific venue.

The only hint given is "Yokohama area".

The Nippon Budokan, the venue for Momoiro Uta Gassen for the last two years, has already been announced for a concert by Taro Hakase (violinist) and will not be available on New Year's Eve.

According to a hint from a KAWAKAMI producer, it will be a large venue in Yokohama, but at Pia Arena MM concert by Perfume and K Arena (a large arena newly opened this year), a concert by Masaharu Fukuyama had already been announced. 

The two remaining large-scale Yokohama facilities are Pacifico Yokohama or Yokohama Arena.

Some believe that Pacifico Yokohama is holding the venue as it is because MCZ's sister group, Iginari Tohoku San, is scheduled to hold a concert there on December 29, two days before New Year's Eve.

However, mononofus are speculating that Yokohama Arena, where the Momoiro Uta Gassen has been held in the past, is the most likely venue at this point.
