RENI's nostalgic song was used at a traditional autumn festival.

Last weekend, RENI's old solo song "Koi wa abare onidaiko" was used in the Danjiri Masturi (Festival) held in Tondabayashi City, Osaka Prefecture, and it was posted on SNS, creating a buzz among mononofus.

The Danjiri Matsuri is a unique traditional festival held in the fall mainly in the Kansai region, in which a large number of people from each district pull a traditional "float" called a "Hikiki-guruma" around the town to a shrine.

The song for this year's festival, called "Hiki-uta," seems to have been adopted as the theme song for the pulling of the floats.

"Koi wa abare onidaiko" is a 12-year-old song that appeared on MCZ's first major album, "Battle and Romance," which was released on July 27, 2011.

It was also the first solo song performed by RENI in the first part of the "Momoclo Haru no Ichidaiji (Spring Big Event) 2011" live held on 4/10/2011 at Nakano Sun-plaza prior to the album. (The second part of the live was Akari Hayami's graduation concert.)

Nobuhiko Kashiwara, who composed the song, also commented on X as follows

As a composer, it gives me the greatest pleasure to know that the melodies I have created are being released and enjoyed from the lips of various people in various situations.

I am grateful to those who share this scenery on social networking sites.

I want to let aspiring composers know that this kind of happiness exists.

Anyway, it is good to do it for a long time and to write a lot!
