KANAKO supports the Pink Ribbon Movement.

A newspaper featuring KANAKO on the front page of the official website of the Women's Basketball Japan League (W-League) has appeared.

This is part of the W-League's support for the "Pink Ribbon Movement," a campaign to raise awareness of early detection of breast cancer, and is part of the educational activities being conducted in October, which is "Pink Ribbon Month.

The W-League and the Asahi Shimbun jointly published the "Pink Ribbon Newspaper," which will be distributed free of charge at W-League regular season games in October and November.

KANAKO has publicly stated that she played basketball in elementary and junior high school, and it seems that she was featured because of her background.
