MCZ is becoming a standard bearer for theme songs of running.

The official X of the 24th Shizuoka Inter-City Ekiden, which will be held on December 2 in Shizuoka City, informed that MCZ's song has been selected as the official theme song for the event.

The song chosen as the theme song is MCZ's 2018 song "GODSPEED".

"GODSPEED" was also the theme song for last year's 23rd Congress, making this the second year in a row that the song has been chosen.

It has also been the cheering song for the "36th All Japan University Women's Ekiden" and "4th Saitama International Marathon," and seems to be becoming a standard song for marathons and ekiden events.

The official X of this year's event introduces "GODSPEED" as follows.

Continuing from last year, "GODSPEED" will be enthusiastically cheering on the Shizuoka Inter-City Ekiden.

The song means 'blessings of "success" and "good luck.

The song is a wonderful encouragement to all those involved in the Ekiden, with phrases such as "I will run through" and "I will watch over you" pushing strongly behind you.
