MCZ will release a new album in spring.

During their live performance on DAY 2 of Momoiro Christmas 2023, MCZ announced information about their latest album.

It has been two years since their sixth album 'Shukuten (means 'Celebration')' and the title of their seventh and latest album is 'idola'.

The release date was reported to be Wednesday, 8 May 2024.

The title 'idola' means in Latin and is said to be one of the words from which the word 'IDOL' is derived.

The album will be released in two formats, an initial limited edition and a standard edition, with the initial limited edition being a large volume containing four CDs and two Blu-ray discs.

The Blu-ray also includes the tour final of the 15th anniversary live tour "MOMOIRO CLOVER Z 15th Anniversary Tour 'QUEEN OF STAGE'", which took place on 15 October at Musashino no Mori Sogo Sports Plaza in Tokyo, both as CD sound and video. The tour final will be recorded both as a CD soundtrack and as a video.
